This fixed spool rod is perfect for heavy spin,
feather, float, light lead work, etc.
I often take this rod along with me and set it up ready
for a spinner, plug, feathers, etc, to be clipped on when
beach fishing with my main rods. You never know when that
big old bass will just show itself very close in, or the
mackerel start to hit along the shore line, and you need
to be quick. This results in a lot of bonus fish, big'un
as well.
The Beach No1 is just at home off the rock doing light
wrasse lead work as well as float fishing. Very
versatile.
Construction: Blank is high modulas
carbon throughout. Rings are Fuji BNHG with Fuji rubber
butt cap on the end of the Japanese shrink tube handle
with Fuji DPS 18 reel seat.
Length - 12' / 2 equal sections / Tip diameter - 3mm /
Butt diameter - 17mm ( 11/16th )

This rod has a wonderful
balance of power and sensitivity, and is lightweight.
Ideal for 'in the hand' work whilst being waist deep in
the surf. Also very happy on the tripod for light work.
Can be built for fixed spool or multiplyer.
Construction:
Blank is high modulas carbon butt and mid section with a
carbon composite tip. Rings are Fuji BNHG with Fuji
rubber butt cap on the end of the quick shrink handle
with choice of reel fitting.
