![]() Mke Dance with a 79lbs Wells |
Catfish Catfish are becoming more prolific - and bigger and bigger. You need a proper rod if you going to target the big Wells Catfish. Below is the rod I recommend
|
| Catfish No2 This 12'
Catfish rod has all the power to cast the big baits and
do battle with the biggest of UK Catfish, just don't get
pulled in. Harrison make the ( approx 4.50 - 5.00 TC ) blanks for me and I have decided to build this rod, in one handle style only. ![]() The above build style has a
Wye fighting butt cap with a JAP shrink-tube rear hand
grip; a Fuji DNPS 20 reelseat, trimmed with stainless
steel collars either side and a JAP shrink-tube up handle
for when the going gets tough. The ringing pattern on
this rod ( two rings on the butt section ) will work for
multiplier reels as well as fixed spools - if so desired. |
