Harrison Chimera Avon 11' 1.25 TC
What can I say! If you want a very light in the hand Specialist rod that likes to bend, then the Chimera Avon is for you. I absolutely love this rod. Perfect for delicate Specialist fishing for...Perch, Roach, Rudd, Crusians etc. Enjoy the play.
I would use the Chimera Avon with between 1/2oz and 1.5oz leads / feeders of 1oz feeling great.
Harrison Chimera No1 12' 1.50 TC
Fantastic...I love this medium fast-actioned rod. Ideal for Chub fishing on the smaller rivers and close range still water work with lead, feeder, or float, targeting from Crusians right up to the big Tench and Bream. All the power you need but with a lovely action.
I would use the Chimera No1 with between 1oz and 2oz leads / feeders of 1oz to 1.50oz feeling perfect.
Harrison Chimera No2 12' 1.75 TC
This medium fast-actioned rods is great for still waters and rivers alike, and perfect for long range feeder work.
This is a great option for a full custom Barbel rod build.
I would use the Chimera No2 with between 1.5oz and 3oz leads / feeders of 2oz feeling about right.
Harrison Chimera No3 12' 2.25 TC Flood / Big River
This fantastic medium fast actioned rod is a great tools for the bigger work.
This rod is a good step up in "power" over the No2. Great for lobbing bigger feeders on big rivers like the Thames, Severn, Wye and Trent when there is a bit of extra water on.
Capable of lobbing out 5oz without drama.
I would use the Chimera No3 with between 2oz and 5oz leads / feeders with 3oz feeling very comfortable.
Harrison Chimera No4 13' 2.75 TC Flood / Big River
This fantastic medium fast actioned rod that's a great tools for the really big work.
This rod is a good step up in "power" again over the No3. Great for lobbing bigger feeders on big rivers like the Thames, Severn and Trent when the going is tough and leaser rods have just given up and started to cry.
I would use the Chimera No4 with between 3oz and 8oz leads / feeders with 4oz to 6oz feeling good.
