Properly one of the sweetest, if not the sweetest Avon type rods I have even seen. Very light in the hand, beautifully balanced, and a wonderful action that will bend to the cork, but very capable of doing battle when needed.

This rod is perfect for all the light specialist work that the standard 1.75 TC Barbel type rods are just way to heavy for, such as: Perch, Big Roach ( and Rubb ), Crucians, Chub, etc etc.
